   I’m glad all you ecco-nuts have sold your cars, gotten off the power grid and are now living in caves. You did do that didn’t you? No? Then what are YOU doing to solve the “problem”? I keep hearing this is “settled science”. Sorry, there is no such thing. Predicting the future of anything is just a guess. The earth being flat was “settled science”. “Global cooling” was “settled science” until the normal cycle of the earth put us in a warming phase. But, let’s say you are all correct. Everyone in the USA could get rid of their cars, we could shut down the power grid, ban heat of any kind and nothing would change. If you are right, China and India are driving the problem and they will not change. PERIOD. My advise is to move inland and wait for the next crazy idea to make everyone equal. Equally poor. None of this is about climate change. It is about power and making people follow orders. For all of you who are “young”, you better “hold onto your butt” because you are not going to like the Brave New World we are building. And so ends the sermon for the day.

   Medicare is health insurance, not healthcare like the VA. The government pays part of the Medicare cost (with taxes) and the retirees pay the rest in the form of premiums, co-pays and deductibles. The current problem can be solved tomorrow by giving the vets having to wait a voucher to see a private doctor. After than, it should be converted to a system like Medicare with the government paying all the costs .

   Yes, the results are in. Carter is now the second worst president. The title has been passed to Obama. Obama proves a person can be “smart” and ignorant at the same time. Obama knows absolutely nothing about how the real world works. It would only take him a few weeks to bankrupt a candy store. The good news is the country can recover from a man like Obama. We may not be able to overcome people who were dumb enough to vote for him.

   Agree. In fact, let’s make it $1000 an hour. And a burger would only cost $500. This is so easy to understand. I will assume you libs really know the truth and just don’t want to admit it. If we had another president and more jobs, wages would go up based on demand. Before Obama, everyone was making more than minimum because of the competition for workers. Forcing higher pay will just cause more people to be out of work.

   I know you libs don’t like logic or numbers, but facts are facts. More gun control, more gun deaths (Chicago). More citizens armed, fewer gun deaths. If you break into my house, you better be ready to “meet your maker”. I propose a law requiring all non-gun owners to post a huge sign in there front yard: “This family is unarmed”. Where I live, there are very few break-ins, because it is assumed everyone is armed.

    The “facts” put forward by the alarmists have been “fudged” over and over. Either by actually changing the numbers or ignoring data. In fact, average world temps have NOT gone up in the last 20 years. It is a fact that the alarmists had to change the name to “climate change” because “warming” was so obviously wrong. It is my opinion there are at least three groups involved in selling CC. The true believers (a small group), the environmentalists who what us all living in unheated caves and eating berries (also a small but powerful group). . The largest group are those people who have been intimidated by the “thought police” are afraid to disagree when they really don’t know what is going on. Predictions have been wrong over and over. Last summer was to be a high hurricane year due to CC. WRONG! The coastline cities would already be under water. WRONG. Even if CC was real, I would not sit still and see my energy cost got up 10×. Remember, we had a similar (but less well organized and funded) on the approaching Ice Age. Wake up people, this is a hoax designed to cripple the US.
