Talk about timing. I was talking about the radio show, “The Shadow” with my Theatre II students this week. Now everybody is talking about it. I wonder if it’s trying to make a comeback!
No WONDER the shadow stumbled – its spine was thrown all out of alignment by the stairs. It’s gonna need a really good chiropractor.
I had my shadow sewn to the bottoms of my feet, like Peter Pan. It hurt like the dickens, but if you lose one the paperwork involved in replacing it is a nightmare, like losing your Social Security card.
It looks weird when I jump, but you get used to the stares…

Another point of view: We’re seeing something for the first time which is that millisecond of time when a cloud passes in front of the sun? I always thought our shadow just despaired I had no idea it fell off like this…
