Her campaign really needed a shot of B-12. Some win ballots, whereas others win bupkis.

This never would have happened if she had been kept barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen.

^^ it’s already begun; started the moment Obama won the election. It’s all about 2010 elections and reapportionment. Nothing else matters.

The Dems never had 60 votes. They still have more votes than the GOP since the 1920s. It’s time they showed it. A majority is 50%+1. That’s all Bush needed to run the economy into the ground. That should be all we need to recover it, and reform health care.

I honestly don’t get why this is such a huge surprise upset or anything like that. And I definitely don’t see it as a referendum against Obama or the healthcare bill, or signs that he’s lost his support or whatever. From what I’ve seen (it wasn’t much, but still), her campaign really stunk. She just didn’t seem personable, friendly, or likeable at all. I think the people in MA aren’t worried about party lines (something many people blindly do too much, IMHO), they just want to pick a senator they actually like. Maybe I’m wrong. But the media will try to sell it to you with whatever spin they choose, so I guess it’s up to us to decide whether we buy it or not. :-p

ah yes, another waste of money, and another candidate in the hillary/barbara brazil type of race. Beautiful losers. that whole wing that did not support Obama, nor HIS supporters. “people jus SHOULD vote for us/me.” not hit the doors, engage the voters, nah, politically correct, and LOST the race- BAH.

msandre continues to destroy the demo party, and they WONDER why men will not vote for them.

    Beautiful loser.

Hintzy is right. She ran a terrible, passionless campaign, and she lost. A feminine Fred Thompson

avh8trs position has nothing to do with Glenn Beck. You might be considered more credible if you looked deeper into the issue. There was indeed the process to advance subprime loans with Barney Frank and others as the advocates. In fact, there was the threat of punitive action by then Vice President Gore to call in the States Attorneys should lending institutions NOT effect this ‘progressive’ lending program.

@John Barney Frank, Fannie and Freddie, and the 26 year old law are the republican scape goats for the housing crisis.

    NOT TRUE AT ALL!!!

You make it seem as if we all have short memories. This all started with sub-prime lending when Bush announced that people with bad credit and low incomes should be able to own homes. He naturally deregulated the housing market. Next thing you know bar tenders, baby sitters, and car salesmen start getting in on the act because the sub prime loans paid a lot of money as compared to the thirty year mortgages which were safer. I know because I have a friend who engaged in that practice. Add to that the credit default swaps and you’ve got yourself a home and credit crisis all in one!

So enough with the Fox Fascist News history lessons! I’m not as old but I wasn’t born yesterday.
