    Keep in mind (always) that this comic is set in the carefree, fun-loving 1960’s. There were no GPS chips or Mapquest in that era.

    I lost a bunch of rockets in the 60’s also, because I quickly realized it was wise NOT to put my name and phone number in the rocket. Some did not appreciate things dropping into their yard. and then there was the time the rocket came down in flames, in a very dry patch of weeds(we got the fire out).
