   Exactly. How, in Calvin’s head can this be any more scary that hurtling off a hill in the woods on a toboggan or wagon? Maybe it’s the fact that dad is involved somehow, and after all the recent poor popularity polls, he can’t be trusted…

   Gotta love how Bernice loosely goes along with everything, sitting at the table with the other two for the card reading and such. But you know she is really there mostly to watch the train wreck, and to throw in just enough commentary to add up to a gentle “I told you so” in the end.

   It’s tough when you realize that you been wearing shoes most of the time for so long, that your feet are tender. When I was a kid, I could walk across the hot asphalt street barefoot in 100 degree weather. Wouldn’t try that now, at least not without a month’s conditioning.

   Oh, yeah, I definitely appreciate the humor, It’s the kind of thing I would come up with in that situation. I’m the kind of guy that points out that I don’t think they put real Orientals in my Oriental flavored Ramen noodles…

   I’m pretty sure this is just an idea. Wouldn’t be practical if implemented. First, not everyone would want to put their car through the wash just to get to the window, and the wash as shown would even further limit the size of the cars that could fit through the drive through. I think this strip (Luann as a whole) has to get the most criticism of any other I’ve seen in terms of the readers pointing out real life physics and sociology. Sometimes I wonder if Greg sometimes just likes to throw little things in there once in awhile, just to watch everyone squirm over it. If I had a strip like this, i think I would… :)

   Sometimes you gotta be a duck, and let the rain roll off your back. And of course, some times you gotta be that dog that goes nuts over the water coming out of the hose…

   I just make my own, “bottle” it in 5 gallon kegs, and keep it on tap. No cork, no screw top, no plastic cork…

   He does. It’s the tell-tale TR in the bottom of the last panel. Otherwise, it usually says “more”.
