I’ve about had it with these ads that push the page to the side. I’m tired of clicking on a comic and getting the one I was on two clicks ago because the page moved just as I clicked. I think I’ll skip comics on this site for a while and see if these go away.

Plus, the way this was set up, it is very hard to use the new comics page on the iPad. The little pop-up boxes interfere with selecting a particular new comic strip (the ones with the little dot). Selecting “Reply” is non-responsive using a touch screen.
I’m glad I’m not alone in being annoyed at the ads that push the comics aside. Stop it please. I realize you need to sell ads to maintain your site, but others seem to be able to accomplish this without being so pushy.

I make it a point to deliberately avoid looking at any advertising that is pushed into my face!
