I try to get in and out of Lowes before the Dominic’s stand outside opens for business. I can’t make it to my truck if I have to wade through the aromas of the grill.

When I worked in New Orleans (a long time ago) all the supermarkets had a beer bar inside. The guys would queue up & have a cold draft while their wives & kids did the shopping.

In Sheboygan County, WI, they’ll up and have a brat fry outside a grocery store. (It’s not really a fry; they seem to grill the stuff.) They’ll do this standing out in zero weather, like they had good sense!
