My understanding is that bee stingers are barbed and often left with the stingee, which is often fatal to the bee. While I’m certain that Gavotte may be unaffected by losing a certain number of individual bees, administering enough stings to be fatal to a healthy man might kill enough bees to destroy her consciousness.
