I can still remember the time before technology when sitting on the porch swing, doing nothing, was a wonderful way to enjoy a warm afternoon.

Better to do nothing than to waste time whining and complaining.

But nothing IS something. To stop and simply BE is to view the world and It’s wonders. Emulate not the ant, who while he had food had no joy

It wasn’t the fat broad he asked to do something… I doubt he would… …See strip for 30 April 2014.

Whenever you hear someone complain that “There’s nothing to do,” you can be sure that he finds it extremely difficult not only to keep himself occupied, but also to endure his own company for more than a few minutes. Hence, to his way of thinking, everyone exists for his own entertainment. Or should.
