The late Tom Snyder once said on The Late Late Show With Tom Snyder that if you play a country record backwards, the dog comes back to his owner, the girlfriend comes back and the car works.

I believe late in 1989, there was single from a single who later “Roped the Wind.” Garth Brooks had his first country single (top 10) called “Much too young to feel” (“This Damn OLD”). Did Verne Gosden have “Set ’em up Joe” that year too? I don’t know.
