Classical station in Denver used to have a Sunday noon show featuring J.S. and the rest of the initials. They called it “Bachs Lunch”. Mount Royal College in Alberta collects improvement ideas with “Johann Suggestion Box”.

A famous harpsichordist on tour unpacked at his hotel only to find that he had left all his music at home, so he called his wife and asked her to send each page to the hotel’s fax machine. As he waited, the Bach piece came … the Handel piece came .. the Vivaldi piece came … but as he continued to wait there was no sign of the Mozart piece. Finally he called his wife again and asked her about it. She replied, “My daddy always said, ‘If it ain’t Baroque, don’t fax it.’”
