Indoctorinating tomorrow's women torture invaders. Toymakers are going butch, marketing violence- themed playthings based on female warrior heroes to girls. Girls are growing up with bows, knives, and guns- but unlike classic indoctrination toys, they're pink. So the invading torture armies of the future will have even more recruits.(Woman: I don't care about no faulty intelligence. I am here to serve my country by shooting foreigners.) Of course, certain modifications will have to be made.

Sounds like Ted saw some “Hunger Games” themed toys in the shops.

It does show an interesting dichotomy when I walk into my local Farm Supply stores and see Pellet Guns in Matte Black and Pink (sometimes even Pink and Black in a feminine parody of cammo).
I always assumed that Pink was reserved for girly girls.

I bought one of those and, well, while the Pink Ak-47 came fully assembled plus 1000 rounds of ammo and had the optional 300 round drum and silencer attached my daughter was disappointed that the “baby doll dress” was not included. I had to search all over town to find one! Thanks Mattel!!
