Oh man, I completely forgot about China making everything these days. Its such a common thing that its easy to ignore. I really hope lawyers point out the hiprocracy of the Hobby Lobby’s christian values to the Supreme Court.
Why are you taking two totally unrelated versus from the bible and using them to attempt to prove a point. I have yet to see any so called atheists on this site trying to tell any Christians just how to act, but I have seen some self righteous Christians trying to tell others (not just atheists, but others of other religions as well) how to act in accordance with their own interpretations of the bible. Perhaps not yourself, (if you claim to be Christian) but others anyway. So, if the shoe fits then wear it!!
“Atheists don’t understand Christians and they aren’t shy about posting it.”That’s true enough, but the same can be said about Christians not understanding atheists. Lack of respect is the problem… and both sides have their share of offenders.Christians who demand publicly funded schools teach creationism or teacher led classroom prayers>, can expect pushback from those who don’t agree. Not all of whom are atheists…
Employer insurance is part of your compensation. Most employers split the cost of insurance with the employee, but the reality is that the whole amount is considered compensation. The whole amount is granted tax exempt status by the government. So, what next? Let corporations go back to paying their employees in scrip that can only be spend on company approved products at the company store?
“Why is contraception that is based on removing a fetus rather than preventing conception ( the definition of contraception after all ) any different.”Last note- this is where the argument gets silly. The emergency contraceptives that Hobby Lobby objects to don’t “remove a fetus”. That’s pure nonsense. Google Levonelle & Plan B, then try to explain to me why Hobby Lobby will cover normal contraceptives, but not these.
Looks like some comments got wiped, including Molon’s original. Too bad none of the Christian’s took the opportunity to directly address Molon, rather than you.
