Those people will watch anything on tv. And I have no idea who Travas and Morgan are and I don’t care..

Oh boy, soaps. Back in the dim dark ages of early (Navy) married life, we did a lot of two things, one of which was (my wife) watching soaps. I went on a 9-month WestPac deployment and when I came back there was no discernable movement in the people or plotlines. As though I hadn’t been gone. Shortly thereafter kids started arriving (how’d that happen?) and soaps went away. We should have named our kids Deployment 64, 65 and 67. Ah, to be young and Catholic pre-pill.

This is the kind of mental high-jinks those two asked for when they, uhhh. let their coffee cups get mixed up. Don’t know what’s been gestating at the bottom of each cup, or how long!!

Well, when elections get into full insult mode, it is time to either turn off the TV altogether (which the Penny’s would never do – ME, EITHER) or find some cable channel that is unaffected by current events.

When the best any candidate can do is throw mud, then I have to ignore them.

I, for one, am grateful they aren’t active in politics.

Our local elections are in May, but it’s mostly flyers on the door and in the mailbox.
