How long ago did you do this cartoon? The 1% has owned the RNC for at least a decade, have control of the House, and will probably take over the Senate in 2014. If you have enough money, you can buy a capitalist government. And, once you have bought it, you can make the laws to insure that you keep it.
The OpenSecrets blog STATED that it left out the Americans for Prosperity that is a wholly Koch-based operation and other dark-money. Saying that they are 59th is therefore kind of like saying Exxon is 59th on the Fortune 500 if you leave out the oil business.
