Sounds like a story Danae would come up with for a personal storm day…..that is if she didn’t hate snow so much!

Nice new comic. I hope Homer returns in the near future.

(“Hope” was an unintended pun, if it is indeed a pun).

Makes sense to me, and I’m from a more (?) temperate climate than New England. (Love Flo’s aside.)

Seems perfectly reasonable, to me. In want of a better solution, of course …

I am actually coming to think this winter is an intelligence test for our sub-species of homo technologicus (technological man): it’s established that the polar vortex displacement that happened this winter was driven by very warm water in the western Pacific, and pretty clear this warming is due at least in part to human activity. It’s a very clear, if counter-intuitive, sign. Do we get it? Are we smart enough to see that “global warming” in one area can cause a frigid winter somewhere else? Or are we still dumb enough to say, “hey, it snowed in April, the world’s getting colder, so drill, baby, drill!”? So far we appear to be flunking the test.

Then there was the Charlie Sheen film where aliens were pumping CO2 into our atmosphere to make it as super tropical as it was on their planet.Hmmmm….

The BEST part of this Sunday strip is that it doesn’t contain any “Homer” in it. That story was odiously dull.
