Worst possible time to be told this.
Why doesn’t the personnel director have ANYTHING on his desk? You’d think he’d at least have the woman’s resume and/or job application.
Helpful advice comes from the most obscure places. He doesn’t need anything on his desk. He’s not going to hire someone with something hanging from their nose. This so made me laugh!
“We’ll be in touch”, the Personnel Director says, waiting until she leaves to toss her resume.
