NEW YORK, Sept. 13 (UPI) — A black New York City man accused of killing a man because he was white says he’s not racist.Lashawn Marten, 31, allegedly punched Jeffrey Babbitt, 62, on Sept. 4 after yelling “I’m going to punch the first white man I see!” in Union Square, the New York Daily News reported.
Babbitt hit the pavement and went into a coma. He died Monday.
Marten was charged with felony assault for the attack and is being held in lieu of $1 million bail. Law enforcement officials said the charges will likely be upgraded.
And, what exactly explains that most violence against Blacks is committed by other Blacks?….Or how the recent spate of “Knock out” game was perpetuated overwhelmingly by Blacks against non-Blacks?.Times have changed but two things are true:Racism knows no color, and is evil in whatever form it takes.andCriminals are criminals regardless of ethnicity.
Rogers’ insinuation is that nothing has changed in the last 50+ years. Only a fool would believe that. This is also a type of racism – refusing to acknowledge progress because things are not yet perfect.

As much as I understand Mr. Rogers’ point, it is flawed, as ConservGov has pointed out. Mr. Dunn was arrested and convicted. The people who lynched Emmett Till were not; he supposedly whistled at a white woman, and at that time, that was a capital offense, punishable by vigilante “justice”. Things haven’t changed as much as we might like after all this time, but things have changed.
Blacks on blacks, whites on whites, browns on browns, spouses on spouses, hmm, the last actually commit the most homicides and it remains intra-tribal disputes that get most people killed.
Guns make it easier than any other means to commit homicide, period. Please, name all the cases where someone killed another with a knife, club, sword, spear, or fist, from 20 feet away from the victim.
Pittsburgh, your guy is just disgusting. He and his ilk daily ignore the multitudes killed and maimed in minority on minority crime to cherry pick singular terrible news such as this. There is no wisdom here.
