Ok, Snowden, drop that computer! The game's up, Snowden! We've been on to your little tricks for some time, Snowden! You didn't really think you could outsmart us, did you Snowden? He also took the dogfood. Watchdog dreams. Door: NATIONAL SECURITY AGENCY. No peeking. Guardian of the nation's deepest secrets (yours, too)

I’m surprised that he didn’t take the dog’s dentures!

You know, the only (slightly) reassuring thing about the technological destruction of privacy is that, as a result, not even the NSA can be sure it can keep a secret. What’s appalling is that the destruction of privacy leads very directly to the destruction of freedom. While our government is currently not nearly so oppressive overall (despite what the delusional paranoids who drink the Fox tea think), nevertheless one must fear the example of East Germany and the Stasi.

At least Snowden wasn’t up there with Putin at the Winter Olympics opening ceremonies. Maybe at the closing ceremonies. .Think he’ll eventually have a big, fat book contract? Or at least an exclusive, well-publicized interview on a major news network?.Talk to young people, and you’ll find many of them think he’s a hero..Forty years from now he’ll probably be hawking reverse mortgages or security systems.
