    neither did Brady, I believe he was one of the last players picked in the final round. And where are all those players today who were picked in that first round? How many are still playing? How many have won the Super Bowl? As far as teams making first round picks, no team does a very good job. Detroit has a huge record of wasting their first round picks. and over the years their poor record kind of speaks for itself

    If being tall was that important for playing quarterback, Dan McGwire would’ve ended up with a bust in Canton instead of being a bust in Seattle.

    I read an SI story on John Huarte (speaking of guys who never really made it in the pros) back in the 70’s and Huarte said height in a quarterback is overrated because you’re passing in lanes…you usually throw BETWEEN defenders, not OVER them. It didn’t work too well for him, but it made sense. How many QBs leap in the air so they can throw over the top of a defender?
