She’s a girl…. all girls are mysteries to guys…. and just when you think you understand em you find out you don’t.

Next year is better. 3.1415 (and yeah I’m a girl too. Well, woman anyway).

“Computer. Calculate to the last digit, the value of pi.”“Working…………….” (ad infinitum)

Note: The value of pi is a transcendental figure without resolution.

We’re watching The Life of Pi in social studies today…..

Typo – that’s 3.14159. It was part of my school cheer: (which I have to type out because these boxes don’t have symbols):

e to the x, d y, d y, e to the x, d y!secant, tangent, cosine, sine,3.14159,square root, cube root, log of pi,disINTEGRATE ’em, RPI!

I thought she meant the time. This joke doesn’t translate on the other side of the Atlantic, we put the day first.

It’s only Pi Day in the United States. In Europe and Canada, they celebrate it on 22 July.

If you miss out today, there is another Pi Day on 22/7!

Some people call it Pie Day cos it’s a pun…. and an excuse to make pie.

In fact, I heard of that name first.An e-card, I believe, with a waitress offering pie for Pie Day … March 14th.

I used to send it to my friends…. who all rolled their eyes.

To those who liked the square pie….cos yes, pie ARE squared….It’s available in a circular area…. you can carry it out, you know… to hundreds of places!

Do you really need an excuse for pi(e)?
