Not to worry. Nutcracker soldier just needs some wardrobe changes to get him through the year.! First, make him up like Cupid for Valentine’s Day, then a leprechaun for St Patrick’s, a bunny suit for Easter….

At least it is something you forgot, We get all our stuff put away on New Year’s Day and a week later my wife will find something at the store and buy it. Then we have to break out the boxes and put it away. It can be like this till Valentines day…..

ALL my xmas decorations are stored way up high in a closet.…so this reindeer candlestick here is just going to stay on a shelf with other decorative objects until next year. (It’s made of gold wire, is pretty, and I did at least take off the red bow.)

A few “Christmas” decorations that I bought WERE planned to be year-round (some red glass birds and gilded feathers that I hung from the chain across my kitchen bay-window above my stained glass). Barely visible here (cropped too much) I see part of 2 feathers below and 1 bird to the side.

We were just discussing our respective decorations stored in our respective garages this weekend. Even this kind of thing is very compatible;-)
