Okay, but the app can’t prep the food. Also I wouldn’t want my food sitting out waiting for me to turn the cooker on remotely. Plus she got locked out of her house showing off her phone so there!

Great story MayKitten :o)I live in a very rural area and the farmers out here are also getting very tech savvy.

There is a program to help farmers go solar and I see so many barns covered in solar panels these days :o)

Yabbut, she apparently scared her husband half to death. Either he can unlock the door, or the first responders will provide entry after they break down the door to take him to the hospital for his heart attack.

Bread machines just need the dough to be in the machine and the timer set. Slow cookers don’t need to be wireless – as Macushlalondra said – set it going in the morning. And done.

That is why you take meat and some of the veggies from your FREEZER and have it in the crockpot unthawed… so that you don’t have to worry about it sitting at room temperature. Honestly — get some problem-solving skills goin’!
