It may not fly it’s self but it will land it’s self, after a fashion.

There are old pilots and bold pilots but few old, bold pilots.

So of the do. We had a J-3 Cub on our field that the owner started it on the end of the runway (no electric system on a early Cub, so you have to start it by hand spinning the propeller), it then with no one aboard started down the runway, took off and flew out of sight. So they got in another plane looking for it fearing the worst, and found it about 20 miles away sitting in the middle of a hay field undamaged. So it just took off, flew, and landed all by itself with out any problems.

Look up “Cornfield Bomber”. An F-106 that landed itself after the pilot bailed out

flies itself, yes.lands itself….eh, not so much

any landing where they can find enough pieces of you to carry away ………….
