The reason that they are still there is because the roller coaster ride broke down and they don’t have anything else to say.

She’ll probably make him climb down the roller coaster, then climb back up on the fire rescue ladder, carry her back down, and then “forget” to thank him for it! (Right, my fellow men? Haven’t we all been there?)
