He’s just not getting board

Since you refuse to move your furniture, Monty (some kind of fatalistic feng shui?), you may wish to don some armor and get a shotgun. unless you think you can befriend Attila, all the while watching a fascinating PBS show about plywood….

It doesn’t appear that the wormhole is actually in one of the walls, but seems to be stationary in the middle of the room – maybe that’s why Monty can’t move his chair and TV to a safer location?

Sounds like a job for Thorax from “9 Chickweed Lane” or “Pibgorn”.

I love Modern Marvels. They can make the hands of a clock spinning or paint drying interesting to watch.

Put a little plywood over that wormhole!
