Maybe some Republican/Fox “news” viewer can explain Paul Ryan’s budgetary “principles”. -After his college education was financed by Social Security, he voted for every Bush budget busting bill, the unfinanced wars along with the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, secret earmarks, unfinanced Medicare Part D, and the unfinanced Bush stimulus, among others.-Then, he became a big deficit hawk and in front of every microphone worried that we were spending ourselves into oblivion. He submitted a “budget” which included tax increases from expiring Bush tax cuts, which he voted against. When asked why it didn’t balance, his response was “Well, we haven’t run the numbers, yet”. -And every Republican/Fox “news” viewer applauded.-Now, he is evidently the liaison between Republicans and the TSE (Tax Somebody Else) party. -If they ever have a Chameleon Party, Ryan can lead it.
Now you come to me and you say — “St. Nicholas, give me the White House.” — But you don’t ask with respect. You don’t offer friendship. You don’t even think to call me Santa. Instead, you come into my house on the day my savior is born, and you ask me to do treason, for money."
