You’ll appreciate how rare it is when you get the bill.

I had a buddy in the Army back in 73 who’s dad was full blood Cherokee Indian. He came up to visit his son in Alaska. We went to eat and his dad ordered the steak raw uncooked. The waiter brought it out just as ordered. His dad took a Bic lighter, put it on max flame and just covered both sides for a few seconds. He then took a big bite out it. He remarked while everyone was staring in disbelief…“NOW that is a good rare steak.”About half the dinner crowd walked out.On a lighter note…..Here in Texas when we want the steak rare they run the cow by and we bite a hunk off of it. We call it free range steaks. Brazilian Steak houses tie it to a stick then bring it around.

It’s not rare if it doesn’t say “moo” when you stick a fork in it.

It is actually better for you in the long run. I have Deficiency Anemia which low red cell count and low iron. The best source of iron is from raw meat and the blood still there. Most quickly and easily absorbed. I take iron tablets from a sports medicine store. It has Vit C, Copper, B12 and Folic acid for easier absorption. I now eat my steaks or burger much less cooked and my red cell and iron levels have move up to the good range.I noticed the condition when doing the Cross Fit. I kept running out of air like my lung were not working. Not enough red cells to carry oxygen to the body to keep the engine running. Now I go full minute on the station. We do five stations then rest one minute. I am not even breathing hard till nearing end of the third set.Another point was my blood pressure med Licinopril (?spell) has low red cell count as a very rare side effect. Med change helped also.
