maybe the GOP will finally boot the tea party out of their party and go back to where compromise is not a dirty word.

Replace the reindeer with Wigged Washington, Jefferson, Adams holding a copy of Constitution and Bill of rights. Now we have a reality check.

While the GOP heads are the ones rigging the system to give them all the money so that less than half a dozen members of the Walmart family can literally be worth more than bottom 30 percent of the entire population combined.

But make Santa as the taxpayer and put Kochs, Norquist and all the Wall Street bankers and again it would be even closer to reality.

While the GOPpers hand out tax breaks, bailouts and subsidies to the richest individuals and corporations in the country. An individual subsidizes industry to the tune of $4,000/individual per year.

Constant drawings of tea partiers with tea bags affixed to their hats is basically just telling the same joke over & over again. And since tea partiers don’t do it any more, it’s a joke no longer based in reality (& there were only about 3 who ever did it). But hey, cartoonists can feel good about themselves for having gotten tea partiers to stop wearing the period dress of the 1700s. What an achievement.

From “Harper’s Index”: % of self-identified “TEA party” conservatives who say President Obama is “destroying the country” 71 . Of all other self-identified conservatives: 6.

Thus like Speaker Boehner has now resolved, I really don’t consider the “TEA party” types as either “conservative” or true “Republicans”.

This review does seem to reflect not just an attitude toward the President, but indeed how many true Republicans there are: note that 94% of self-identified “conservatives” are far more rational.
