The latest episode of my fun, serial story Kiss Them Deadly is up. It’s a quick read and you get to control how the story flows.

With today’s cartoon I’m trying to show how both sides have their own unique slanted views. :-0

@johnzakour Have read up to date, wish the subplots where a little longer for progress sakes,

As for showing both sides – sorry it failed – all it will do is bring out comments from the single minded pundits of doom. From both sides, who never learned cause and effects build on input of many people.

The trick to walking on coals is to walk normally. The left foot will not burn in the short time it is exposed to the coals any more than will the right, if a normal pace is maintained. They did a show about it on Myth-Busters.It is advantageous to remember that the direction of the nation has not changed, only upon which party the weight of responsibility rests. The same brain that moves the feet will blame them for the pain it must endure for its own actions. This is because humans are not terribly bright. We just aren’t

Put not thy faith (or excuses) in Kings (or Presidents)

Personal incompetance is a far more accurate answer!

But remember, comics traditionally take the role of jester. They poke at the issues and attempt to deflate a little. This is not an editorial. Rita and Jay are not two pompous talking heads with their own shows to spread their views. They’re two fools in a hierarchy (in which Rita is still lower than she imagines) blathering opinions no one beyond their walls will care about.

Although since the end of that administration, word got around that Bush began to pull away from Cheney during the second term, and act more frequently on his own, and that Cheney allegedly resented it.

Truthfully though, how much different are our daily lives from president to president? This has been a good year for me work wise, but I don’t credit it to the president, I credit it to working hard over the last few years to make things happen. When it comes to the nuts and bolts of daily life I don’t see much different from Bush to Clinton to Bush to Obama. I actually think my life is more affected by state government, which I guess is affected by how much money they receive from national government. Okay it’s complicated. I think I’ll just write my stories now and not think so much.

Sorry, but I agree with John on this. It’s not that different from one president to another- regardless of which party they’re in. The president is not a king. He doesn’t get to just say ‘do this’ and it’s done. And if congress is filled with opposition, trying at every turn to fight the president- Whichever party is on whichever side- then things won’t change much. The government has become a pointless game of Rock-em Sock-em Robots. It doesn’t matter which you play. Every so often one knocks the other’s block off. Push it back in place and play again.

But is there a ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ in all of this, or just compromise?

Antagonist. That’s fair. What Rita is is obtuse. She lacks the ability to see things from other people’s point of view.

The CLintons pushed hard for health car reform, Hilary especially. Their sworn enemies did all they could to frustrate them. This is why nothing gets done in government. Same thing over and over. Playground bullies.

We like getting lots of comments. Be nice if we didn’t have to mention politics to get ‘em. Sometimes we like it when readers say something about the strip… just sayin’.

Not quite saying that, but we all (well most of us) view the world with our own set of biases.
