That meal would be a sacrifice…a burnt offering….although in this case, it’s probably just steam rising from the food….(food??)

You could always get off your lazy bum and cook dinner for the two of you.

Yeah, just couldn’t not notice the cinnamon connection/similarity. I can be pretty dense at not seeing stuff right in front of me. -“Bongo Fury” – Yeah !!! I was the only one who had that record. As a Zappa fan you’re pretty much an island. That must be why it is such a joy when you run across another who shares your fun and great taste in eclectic, comedic, complex compositions that cross genres. -I think it’s a cheap Hulk knock-off, as the real thing might awake the copyright beast. -Just talking about everyday stuff can be interesting…. okay, not great big headline breaking stuff, but just to know what someone is doing in their day. The distances keep many of us meeting face-face so, these little shared slices of life will have to do. If a person has a funny experience or anecdote to share along with that….-I had a couple mails with her this morning. She laments that her mails to the company go unanswered….. par for that course. They play a mean waiting game. I told her if I was mod I would have to play by a set of revised rules, but that would make it so much more fun. Even then, I’m sure I would be putting some folks into ‘timeout’. -May your Fish Fry-day go well too ! ________________________________________________The one thing I do notice are commenters making spelling errors and bad grammar on GoComics. I don’t say anything to them though. I just let it slide. This is GoComics and not an English class.-I absolutely hate it when people point out my errors. Before anybody says “They’re only trying to help” I don’t think they are. I just think they’re being patronizing.-I’m sorry about all of that. Rant over. -I listened to that Frank Zappa link you sent to me about a month ago and I enjoyed it a lot. I was listening to it while I was commenting.-My everyday life is nothing to get excited about really. That’s why I always enjoy reading about other people’s lives.-We all miss our Dry. I know I do. If I worked for GoComics, I would reinstate her as soon as I got the emails.-I hope you’re having a lovely weekend.

I, too miss the edit button..My favourite Christmas film was the Alastair Sim one, where he played Scrooge. Hattie Jaques was one of the dancers in the inn.
