And the other day when I said I didn’t…I was NOT criticising the strip or the plot.
There’s a very tight plot, intricate, with characters all wound around various arcs, some overlapping and some not….
And we’re still in a flashback to 2005.in the years between 2005 and the day in 2013 when we went back in time, we’ve seen some of them in new relationships and juxtapositions, which we’re not supposed to know about yet at the time of THIS episode.
For instance, this was when Jane first met Sky…. and Dorothy was still conflicted…
In the past 8 years, Jane has had off and on romantic relationships with one then the other …but right now, in this strip, none of them know that future.
So yeah, it can be confusing…. but not boring, and certainly not … um…. under-plotted. And to the guy(?) who keeps coming back asking about the hippie chick ….it’s been explained over and over….we’re back in 2005, and she’s not there yet.Neither are any of the characters we’ve met since then, like Sidney the photographer or all those aliens … or Beta Jane…..well…. except for when Paige posts as Beta Jane….
And Happy New Year back to you, Otto!And to Paige, and all of you, while I’m at it.
Ethan, the consummate slacker hero of all slackers, Ethan take action…..?Hmmm…here’s what I see happening, Ethan gets moved out …and ends up living in the U-haul parking it right next to the ocean side trailer. Actually in reality Skye cannot just “move in” if the rental agreement is specificly in Ethan and Jane’s names. Ethan has the legal right to live there, Skye doesn’t. He can use that to block her from displacing him. Doesnt get used very often but I have seen situations like this come down to who’s name is on the rental agreement.

Does anyone else sense jealousy? What’s wrong if Skye moves in with Jane. I mean Jane is single and lonely.
