Usually, they did their paintings inside the cave, at least as far as we know

In the Commonwealth of Virginia, game wardens use fake deer to catch people who shoot at them under inappropriate circumstances (such as firing across a public road). So they set the deer up in an obvious spot and wait. Inevitably someone comes along and takes a couple of shots at the deer.

Now I’m a city boy, but even I know if you shoot at a deer, one of two things happen: you hit it and it goes down or you miss it and it runs off. It does not stand there and let you take shot after shot at it.

“Hey Betty Jo, this is a tough one.” “Better empty the entire clip on him, Cletus.”

Here in the Midwest, they sometimes set a fake deer near a highway. In one incident, the hunter blew the head off the deer, and it just stood there headless!The game warden watching said he’d never before seen someone’s jaw drop like his did!!

Here we have three seasons:1. Bow hunting2. Shotgun3. Motor vehicle (year around!)

Wouldn’t the arrow bounce off of the rock? Or break?
