I had some old 78s I stored in the attic. When I was up there looking for christmas decorations one year I found they had melted and stuck together.
especially the ones with the flower-like horn.
If the records were among the first made, they would have been worth more than $5 before Jeff “improved” them.
I’ve always liked the look of Gramphones.
