Caveat Emptor, eh? How many of you researched coverages, exclusions, and all the other details that are specifically placed to make it hard for the average person to understand before you chose your insurance coverage? Or did someone else do that for you?
I hope none of you posters above are ever in the position of finding out that the insurance that you thought you had is nowhere close to what you actually have. And the only way you’ll ever find out…….is the hard way.
A lot of this reminds me of the arguments for and against predatory lenders. People have a right to shop for whatever loan they want, or whatever loan they can qualify for. 300% interest? Well, he should have known better. The argument for not interfering with this practice in the legislature in Virginia was centered around the fact that people should be allowed to make their money, regardless of the damage their business can cause to others.
It’s all a matter of priorities. Choose yours wisely; prior preparation prevents poor performance.
Due to the local economy, I’m making a mere $300 / month. What I don’t need for expenses is going towards paying for a new car so that I can move to an area where the economy is better.[]There’s no way I can afford an Obamacare-complient plan.
They personally don’t and Lalo Alcaraz isn’t saying they do. There are plans out that are expensive, and provide no real benefits. I had one of those through my work.
I stopped reading the racist rants of Lalo Alcaraz a long time ago. His anti-American, pro-illegal alien “cartoons” belong in some far-left political forum instead of cluttering up the comic strip section with his trash.
Keepiing my plan, and this year the premium is only going up 3% as opposed to the 13% annual increase for the last 15 years since “W” started “controlling costs”, HAR! But my copay on 90 day supply is also going from $5 to $10, there’s another “budget buster” tha’s probably due to the ACA restrictions.
Wow, that is reaching to a pathetic level, but right in line with the liberal philosophy: “If you were just smart enough to understand how and why we’re screwing you, you’d like how well we do it!”
If you go to the doctor once a year, no insurance will ever pay for that, due to deductibles. And the reason people need to have insursnce is that, if they need care and can’t pay, someone else pays.I remember Idiot Scalia asking why couldn’t a law require people to buy broccoli. The obvious answer that the other side didn’t say was that’s ridiculous because nobody says that the people in line behind me will pay for it, so I get it free.
