    We call it fend night. Fend for yourself, eat the leftovers or make something new, but neither mom nor dad are cooking tonight!

    Well, I make most of my dishes in 3-4 servings at a time (so I don’t spend so much time cooking) but if there is anything green, it’s a vegetable (not even blue cheese right now for this vegetarian diet- missing that!)

    I’m very much in the “cook once eat twice….or 3 or 4 times” camp. Only two of us, and I cook and freeze for future meals. It’s just as much work and takes just as much time to cook six or eight portions as two.
