I used to read “Nancy” as a kid. I had never thought of it in the realm of surrealism back then. Either it has matured or I have. Maybe both. Maybe neither.

Whoo hoo! This sparks the kid in me – let the imagination run, Guy!

I miss Harvey comic books. This strip makes me think of them.

Lookout for that first step…

I don’t care for this Oona Goosepimple storyline. It was OK for Halloween, but I was hoping it would turn out to be a dream and Oona would not be a regular character.

All of a sudden this strip is going down hill fast.

Alleyoops, I agree. If the door wasn’t yellow, we could wonder what’s behind the “Green Door”….

Do the yo-yos look like andirons to anyone else?

Oona, the Yo-yos, and the Door Behind the Fireplace go back to “Nancy” comics from Dell (not Harvey) in 1959. “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, ha! They’re even older than the real “Star Trek”!

Or maybe Nancy is going to turn into Anne Mitchell in Ninie Hannon’s book ‘The Memory Closet’. I hope not, because I’m not a fan of horror stories…
