I just found out the other day that people under theage of 18 can’t buy a can of spray paint becausethey can get high sniffing the fumes. I was buyinga can of it at Walmart and the cashier asked be if Iwas 18 which was a compliment since I’m 61.
@russell5419 – I’m slightly above your age. If i buy wine at the grocery store, nobody even attempts to ID me. T.hey just wave me through. Their unofficial guidelines are to ID if someone looks under 40.
Employees are often required to get ID even if it is obvious the customer is of sufficient age. I had a friend who was fired from her job because a government agent saw her serve alcohol to an elderly person without carding him first.
