Simpsonfan, I have always wondered why some hotels have a telephone by the throne. Curious.And purple, there was a quote attributed to the late Bum Phillips, “I don’t do anything these days, and I don’t start that until about 10 am.” I’m striving for that ideal. Of course, Joy is post doctoral on that with numerous papers!
Save the whale?? Is that herself? If she stays on the head set long enough it would grow in her ear..She can now sit at the table and eat and talk at the same time. Oh she can do that anyway with the land line.
Burl could have splurged and bought her a blue tooth or something, he didn’t have to buy her an old operator headset.-Is that a beached Beluga whale belly up I see?-Pretty smart of Burl, last week he stood by the phone ringing while Joy was on the toilet, now she can answer immediately whatever she is doing on the toilet and not be inconvenienced. That would be the phone call from H#%%
Come on Dazz, this is Joy we’re talking about, Albacore tuna is exotic to her. she buys the brown cat-food kind. Not getting up to answer the phone, change channels, hand up wash, and walking to the grocery store is part of the reason we have a Huge (no pun intended) obesity prob in the US
The caviar got quite a few comments, but what OTHER explanation for referring to “Beluga” on her shirt as opposed to just whales? Even here, the best place to buy fresh jars of caviar is Whole Foods (or the internet) and the Chicago store had it more reliably than Phoenix/Scottsdale.
I have already begun to think menus for my first meals as a non-vegetarian, even though I WILL still limit consumption of meat per Ornish’s Prevention Diet. I think I can manage with that indefinitely ;-D

Can’t wait for the day when cell phone usage is allowed in-flight. In flight assaults, mayhem and broken cell phones coming to an airline near you.
