Reminds me of a bumper-sticker I saw a while back….. “I brake for hallucinations.”

In case of Dracula, the opposite applies.

Sometimes I wonder if they use mirrors at all or if they just try to guess what’s behind them.

Actually I can see your nose pretty clear Ziggy. Now they have a mirror within a mirror for those blind spots. And lets hope that all new cars will have the backup view that is mandatory not an option.
