Yeah…..I had a doctor who told me (when I was recovering from an almost deadly case of tonsillitis) that as soon as the inflammation went down, he was going to yank my tonsils. When I asked if I had a choice, his response was “Sure. You can die.” A good doctor if a bit blunt.
I had to have my tonsils out when I was in kindergarten. They swelled so bad every time I caught a cold, the next time the doctor said they could strangle me. So out they came. Never got tonsillitis after that either.

I know doctors like that. When I said “it hurts when I do this,” he actually said “then don’t do that.”

I stay away from doctors. I am fit and healthy, but when I visit doctors they always find something.
