Had an old friend I bumped into tell me to send her a friends request, under her new last name which is VERY common. I told her it would be easier if she sent me one as my name will only net you 2 on FB.

I found this out when I tried to locate old friends and had no idea if they were married or not. Some don’t use their maiden name with their last name so there was no way to find them.

I found a cousin after not seeing her for almost 40 years and not knowing her married name by going to Classmates.com.

some of us don’t want to be ‘found" A classmate ’found’ me and emails me 6 times a day with religious and political stuff. I can only imagine if I were on FB. Same person asked my best friends SON to be her ’friend’on FB and she has never met the kid!

Face book has improved my social life quite a bit. I meet up with old friends I’ve lost touch with and we go hang out. And I’ve met other people, too. Cyber contact has led to human contact.

I’m very busy with school, so, yes, I use facebook to keep up with friends.

Using only my married name is deliberate! I don’t want to be found.
