Do you really, and logically, think so? I happen to be with motivemagnus on this particular form of insanity! What is next, the NRA approving such red states having dead men be able to deep their guns? Although, I must admit, that would at least be a way of at taking some of the incredibly excessive firepower out of circulation!
This is basically a tempest in a teapot. According to the National Federation of the Blind, in 2011, there were 35,600 with visual disabilities in Idaho. Given that it’s most likely that only a small portion of them will purchase arms, it really seems sort of silly that so many people are spending time on this, when there are so many other much larger problems.
This is probably the most accurate statement here. It says visually impaired, not blind. And under the ADA, you can’t discriminate against someone for their disability. There’s no provision with in the 2nd Amendment that states you have to be able to see to own one.
Had a blind friend who was into archery, using a bell at the target- he was as good as many sighted archers in our group! He could also use the same method with a .22 rifle, to “effect”!
Have also used “sound shots” on rabbits, with a shotgun, to effect, in the right habitat where the little critters make noise in the brush and dry grass.
I’d as soon see the blind with guns as George Zimmerman, they’d probably prove more “responsible for their actions”.
Ionizer: you missed how tough he, AND his LAWYER, can be against his wife, filing for divorce. Though SHE has said she wouldn’t bring charges, the state may still be forced by the law to do so.

Combine that with allowing guns in bars, and they may miss the target most of the time.

Equal opportunity – - some can shoot themselves in the foot – some can shoot the bottom off their cane.

You’re right, it is Iowa. But that’s OK, we’re used to people asking us where all the Iowa potato farms are!
