Those of us who remember the Lassie show need no explanation (and the movies are still around). I try never to watch sad movies because extreme empathy makes me shed a tear at some commercials. I look terrible with red eyes and nose.

I think this time Timmy fell on a well so deep he reached China.That’s why he’s learning mandarin and they’re sending money, and goodies to him with Lassie (just a guess…)
