HOWEVER, it was also dependent on Egypt keeping the peace with Israel, plus we need access to the Suez Canal,. and flyover rights, if necessary. I believe we need to reexamine our aid, but “cutting off” aid is too late, as it’s already been authorized and spent, at least for this fiscal year.
