first house I ever bought in 1972 was a new construction 3 bedroom 2 bath on a cul d sac with a large lot and cost $19,500…………….the car I bought a year ago cost $28,500. I told my husband for that much money it needed to come with a garage and a kitchen.
My last car cost more than my first house purchased in 1972… and it was income property (a 2 flat). My current condo cost 6 times as much as the 2 flat and has 1/2 the room (less if you consider the 2 flat had a basement)
