Funny how Toles would draw the White House in all his toons for 8 straight years, but in the last 5 years he seems to have forgot how to draw it.Hmmm……
Boehner and McConnell stated it early, their only job was to prevent Obama a second term. Their devotion (and their party’s) to destroying the nation if necessary to obstruct anything the “White House” proposes, is vile, trite, and often bordering on treasonous. Period.
Our troops have come out of Iraq, and pulling out of Afghanistan is progressing. That was a mess caused by blatant lies on the part of that “White House” Toles, and many others pointed to as the source of our problems, that we’re STILL paying for, in many ways, and many folks will be paying for decades for those lies.
And, let’s not forget the economic crash of 2008, that is the reason we’re having a slow recovery, and continuing to damage folks, , because it WAS the Republicans in Congress, not just the White House that gave that pooch the shaft.
Obama is willing to talk. He just offered tax cuts for corporations. The GOP is not. They turned him down without even looking at the proposal. They are simply not qualified to govern, and they know it.

“Reagan united the country. Obama has divided the country.”.That’s not only trite, but completely untrue.Reagan united the GOP, but hardly the country. Liberals saw him for the mouthpiece he was for vile conservatives like Cheney, Wolfowitz, et al. Obama’s opponents have further divided this country during his administration by opposing anything and everything he proposes.Doesn’t the right wing ever grow tired of being history’s punch line? Eventually everything you endorse is swept aside by progress.
