I don’t think that’s Ma, it’s just some random randy woman.

Good morning, Mr. Leaky, et al!

Morning, Leaky and Marg —and all Crustwoodians….

Nope, not Ma… Ma has little round earrings and rectangular glasses. And somehow I doubt she’d be hitting on the bus boy. Then again… you never know. If she thought she could get a free sardine basket out of it….

The Rotunda must have extra wide seats for the rotund…and extra big milkshakes to keep ’em coming back…and extra floor joists…

I would rather eat alone than with those pigs. Making fun of one of their kind isn’t nice, they aught to be ashamed and invite her to sit with them..

All of the places they frequent seem to be involved with food (and never is anything healthy to eat even mentioned).@X, True, Verla knows all the busboys (at least that may keep Jer on his toes) LOL!@Loveslife, how could they invite anyone to their -table-booth? They barely fit in it themselves.

Sardine Basket is the Catch of the Day? I wonder if they hook ’em one at a time?

I think the old lady is hitting on the bus boy, that is what is pathetic, her trying to strike a conversation. Verl, also always on the lookout for a man, has made the same observation and doesn’t get the issue as she would likely want to also start up a conversation with him. He is gainfully employed and dressed nice, better than her current option even if he doesn’t speak English.

Ok I’ve got a picture in my mind and it ain’t good. Fat lady sitting in a booth, short dress, no front on the booth. You know Susan, you should come up with a BB/breakfast drink combo. Maybe pancake flavor, or French toast?

When I first looked at today’s panel, for the first centillionth of a nano second it looked like a courtroom scene to me. Bob, Carol, Ted, and Alice being the gallery. The trollop of Crustwood serving as stenographer. The busboy.. er, busperson.. er, busperdaughter.. er, busperdaughtim.. er, busser.. er, bussma’am..

    What?

Now that my work for the day is over, I can take a closer look and the language of our 2 “gentlemen”, “Check IT out” and “Talk about pathetic”. -WHAT? That there is actually someone even more obese than any of them? Or that the poor old thing is interested in the busboy? Neither of them is much of a prize either (either in appearance or occupation – do we even KNOW what Jerry does?)
