Well there goes my suspension of disbelief. Is the story that in the Big Nate universe, Mrs. Godfrey was Nate’s fifth grade teacher, or is it just that the fact that everyone repeats the same grade and no one ages known by by the characters? Did the fourth wall just break? I’m confusing myself. My point is that it seems weird that Nate knows he’s repeating the sixth grade endlessly. I hope someone understands what I’m trying to say.

I had a teacher who’d do stuff like that to students. Terrible teacher, drove the weaker students nuts and made the stronger students mad.

Today my social studies teacher did a similar thing today when she asked us what detroit Constantinople was on. People shouted out random guesses. She finally told us it Bering. Someone told her that was what he was saying. Then she said that Bering was in Alaska then told us the real answer. Must be a social studies teacher thing.
