When I moved to FL in 1985, it was run by Democrats. Then in the early 90s Democrats switched parties and ne residents voted them back in. Now it is infested with redumblicans.
Effective use of “stand your ground” allows anyone to murder anyone else and get away with it … just saying …. I guess that’s one way to keep the population down …

Back in the ’70s, when I was living in Florida, a guy caught a burgler carrying his electronics out the door. He grabbed the first thing that came to hand (the guy not outside the door yet), which happened to be a golf club, and hit him with it. The burglar died.
The judge ruled that ‘a television set was not worth a man’s life’, and the homeowner went down.
Florida ‘justice’ has been pretty sleazy for a long time.
You all need to chill. We weren’t there that night, so we don’t know just exactly what went down! I seriously DOUBT that George Zimmerman set out to kill anarmed teenager! The jury made their decision based ON THE EVIDENCE AS IT WAS PRESENTED TO THEM! And the media REALLY SCREWED ALL THIS UP with so much INACCURATE and doctored information!
Who cares what he “set out” to do?! Do you know how many people are in jail for crimes they didn’t “set out to do?” Since when does are justice system tolerate this kind of an excuse? It NEVER has! Only in screwed up Florida. Get real.
^What does your vertical graph axis represent? It’s pointless, as Danziger depicts perfectly the state, and it’s been that way for a long time, even before “stand your ground” and “carry” lack of regulation. The only thing good in Florida is the wildlife, panthers, gators, and manatee, and the locals are determined to wipe them out.
Don’t you get tired of repeating this on every thread? Even the wingnuts here aren’t buying what you “heard”. If you’re going to make up some fact to post, at least try for credibility for a change. The Black Panthers? Really? Try telling us you heard that the Spanish Inquisition’s on the verge of kidnaping Zimmerman and forcing him to do guard duty at a barroom dwarf toss. That’s something even the wingnuts here will swallow.
